Equine Management: Training Option, AAS

Program Description

Equine Management: Training Option, AAS provides the student with foundational horsemanship and leadership skills that will be suitable to many professions within the equine industry. Through classroom preparation, hours in the saddle, and opportunities for internships the student leaves prepared for higher education opportunities, career entry and advancement, or starting their own equine business. The student must supply a horse and tack for this program.

General Education Requirements

Student must complete six (6) credits of General Education courses distributed over two (2) different general education areas, one of which is either WR2 or ORAL.
