Outcomes
In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:
1. Explain how GNSS devices work and their limitations.
2. Utilize GNSS devices for accurate data collection.
3. Design mobile applications to gather and manage field data using ArcGIS Online products (Field Maps, Survey123, QuickCapture).
4. Create Web maps that effectively display spatial information using cartographic principles.
5. Complete a project that involves collecting field data with GNSS applications and sharing it via a Web map.
6. Explain basic GNSS and geospatial cloud technology and how it applies to field data collection in land management and outdoor recreation contexts.
