Library
The CWC Library, located in Main Hall 109, is the primary library for Central Wyoming College. We serve students, faculty, staff, and the communities of Riverton, Fremont County, and our outreach centers in Lander, Wind River, Dubois, and Jackson. Helping our patrons find answers is our passion, and no question is too small or complex for our team.
Resources and Access
The Library provides over 20,000 physical materials specifically curated for the CWC community. This collection is supplemented by more than 200 databases and 1,200 electronic journals, which are accessible 24/7 off-campus using a CWC username and password. Additionally, through Wyoming’s library consortium, we provide access to books and electronic items statewide via interlibrary loan services.
Library Cards
Your CWC student ID serves as your library card and should be active at the start of the semester. This card is valid at most Wyoming libraries while you are an enrolled student. If the CWC Library does not have what you are looking for, your CWC library card gives you the ability to request books from other libraries free of charge. We encourage you to visit the library to test your card and explore our collection.
Facilities and Services

Research Assistance
CWC librarians are available to assist with writing, research, and editing class projects. You may stop by between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, or schedule an appointment. Students can also contact a librarian at any time via email at librarian@cwc.edu.
