EQST 1811 Farrier Science III
In this advanced farrier science course, students will be working with forge, cold and hot shaping shoes, mapping out hoof, trimming and dressing of the hoof, determine appropriate size and type of shoe, horsemanship, lameness issues, nailing on shoes, and finishing the feet. Prerequisite: Completion of
EQST 1810. (2 lect., 2 lab)
