In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:
1. Describe strategies for creating and maintaining a safe program environment
2. Compare strategies for promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle among children
3. Design attractive, inviting indoor and outdoor environments
4. Develop individual interest areas that offer equipment and materials that support a variety of different activity options
