Select research-based, discipline specific strategies to teach science concepts.
Develop skills and strategies used in hands-on science approaches.
Investigate learning activities for conducting investigations and experiments.
Demonstrate a variety of teaching and assessment strategies to encourage all children to think critically and solve problems, meeting required state standards.
Utilize tools such as manipulative materials, calculators, computers, and pictorial representations appropriately for concept development.
