COMM 2135 Gender Communication and Culture
This course explores the many ways that gender and communication intersect and affect each other. Students will consider how gender attitudes and practices, past and current, influence personal notions of what it means to be female and male, and beyond that, what it means to be feminine and masculine. This course is a blend of lecture, discussion, and application exercises to familiarize students with the concept of gender and its role in communication. (3 lect.)
