COMM 2110 Nonverbal Communication
This course is designed to acquaint students with non-linguistic form of communication. It explores the theories and elements of nonverbal communication such as physical appearance, smell, proxemics, gestures, paralanguage, and the effects these elements have in the communication process. Students analyze diverse communication contexts and discuss communication strategies and appropriate nonverbal behaviors in such contexts. Prerequisite: Completion of
COMM 1030 or
