Library

The Central Wyoming College Library, located in Main Hall 109 on the Riverton campus, is the academic information hub for students, faculty, staff, and the wider communities of Riverton, Fremont County, and our Outreach Centers in Lander, Wind River, Dubois, and Jackson.

The Library offers a wide range of physical and online resources to support research, learning, and creativity. Students have access to collaborative group spaces, private study areas, computers, and printing services. Librarians provide information literacy instruction, plus individualized research and citation assistance to help students strengthen their academic skills.

Inside the Library, students will also find the Writing Center, Test Center (see below), and the campus Lost and Found. With their CWC student account, students have 24/7 access to thousands of eBooks, journals, newspapers, magazines, films, music, art, maps, and other scholarly databases through the Library website. The Library also maintains a strong collection on Wyoming and American Indian history, as well as hands-on materials such as educational models, VR headsets, laptops, and games. Through interlibrary loan, students may request items from libraries across Wyoming and the nation at no or minimal cost. Popular fiction, nonfiction, and audiobooks are also available for leisure reading.

The Library is open during the semester Monday–Tuesday, 8 a.m.–10 p.m.; Wednesday-Thursday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; and Sunday, 12–4 p.m. When school is out of session Monday - Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Visit the Central Wyoming College Library website ( https://libguides.cwc.edu/cwc ) or call 307-855-2141 for current hours and additional information.
