POLS 2205 Human Rights Theory & Practice

This course is a treatment of the powerful influence of the concept of human rights upon the historical and contemporary world. It includes the study of theoretical foundations, civil and political rights, social and economic rights, cultural relativism, the effects of globalization, the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and human rights and foreign policy.
