EHS 2500 Environmental Compliance Technology
This course explores the application of environmental laws and regulations to the implementation of appropriate compliance strategies, industry processes, and current technologies. Regulations concerning the handling and transport of hazardous materials, air and water pollution prevention and management, and environmental auditing and inspections will be explored in detail.

3. Apply foundational knowledge in environmental compliance to the creation of reports that meet regulatory requirements.
4. Outline and discuss various technologies that mitigate air and water pollution.
5. Describe and define primary systems for identifying and labeling toxic substances.
6. Outline proper procedure for underground storage tank use.
7. Discuss how implementation of proper procedure and technologies can reduce the possibility of pesticide contamination.
8. Investigate a specific industry case study to evaluate the degree of environmental compliance with environmental regulations.
