Outcomes
In order to successfully complete this course, the student will:
1. Create a series of sculptures inspired by a variety of cultures and artists of the world.
2. Create a series of sculptures using a variety of processes including but not limited to: casting, additive, subtractive, collaborative, and assemblage processes.
3. Create a series of sculptures choosing a variety of media including but not limited to: clay, wood, plaster, metals, glass, and stone.
4. Analyze the artwork of historical and contemporary artists, fellow students, and their own artwork.
5. Create artwork applying the elements and principles of design.
6. Make aesthetic and intellectual judgments on sculptural themes.
