BIOL 2020 General Biology II
This course is a continuation of
BIOL 1010. It includes classification of living organisms and a brief introduction to biodiversity. Major processes such as nutrient procurement and utilization, transport, gas exchange, information processing, reproduction and development are compared in major taxonomic groups. The topic of ecology is used as a focal point late in the course to integrate processes and biodiversity. Prerequisite: Completion of
