AUTO 1690 Power Train Fundamentals
This course emphasizes the principles of operation, diagnosis, and repair of clutches, manual transmissions and trans-axles, drive-lines, differentials, and front-wheel drive units. Emphasis is placed on understanding the principles of torque multiplication and speed reductions through the use of gearing, location and interpretation of specifications, and correct troubleshooting and repair procedures.
