WELD 1770 Gas Metal - Flux Core Arc Welding
Students will be introduced to the basics of Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), which includes metal transfer modes, electrode identification, and a detailed introduction to the power source, repairs, techniques, and set-up. The course projects will enable the students to advance in their skills in GMAW leading up to the process of Fluz Core Arc Welding (FCAW) using dual shield with the final being based on the AWS D1.1 Structural Steel Code.
